Please join us on Saturday, September 24th, for our Miatas at Battleship Cove, Fall River, Massachusetts, adventure at: http://www.battleshipcove.com/.

We will meet at Wal-Mart on Route 44 in Raynham, Massachusetts, for a prompt 8:30 a.m. departure and hit the winding back roads as we travel down to Fall River.

A member of the Battleship Massachusetts staff (who is also a member of our Club family!) will meet and greet us at 9:00 a.m. and direct us to a secured parking area. The cost is $24 ($21 group rate) per person includes admission to all of the attractions at the Cove and the delicious Carousel Buffet for lunch. The Buffet includes chicken, ham, and seafood salad rolls; pasta with marinara sauce; Fall River's famous chourico & peppers; assorted pickle tray; baked beans; potato salad; potato chips; fresh fruit bowl; frosted cupcakes; and coffee, tea, or punch. We will dine on board the Battleship Massachusetts! In order to enjoy the group rate of $21 per person for this event, we need a minimum of 30 people (approximately 15 cars).

After lunch, we will head for Newport, Rhode Island, and explore 12-Mile Drive, including a drive by the historic Newport Mansions. From there, if time allows, we will continue on to the Greenvale Vineyards in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, where we will enjoy some great wine tasting to some "Live Jazz" music performed by Matthew Quinn with Bob Mainelli.

And how about some fine Portuguese cuisine for dinner? We are planning to dine at a famous local Portuguese restaurant.

Our day will be "topped off" with a visit to Waterfire in Providence, Rhode Island. (Note: This is a weather permitting event)
