We'll meet at the Raynham Walmart on Rt. 44 (east of rt. 24) for a drivers meeting at 9:15 AM, and then take country roads through Berkley and Assonet travelling south to Newport in time for the doors opening at the Newport Playhouse at 11:00. If your Miata is still in hibernation then, that's ok - bring your winter beater.

Eat a light breakfast that day - a full buffet begins at 11:30 (bring an appetite)!!! The show is "Wally's Cafe", a "Wonderful, wacky comedy". It begins at 1:00 PM, followed by a cabaret (optional). Both show and cabaret are full of comedy - check out this show in detail at their website.

Afterwards there may be a drive around Newport - TBD.

Cost and reservation information:

The Newport Playhouse is giving us a group discount rate of $45.00 per person, and we have 20 seats reserved. Add 18% for tax and gratuity. This includes the buffet, show, and cabaret. Bar drinks are extra.

We have a block of reservations booked for us so we can all sit together, but they will be released for general sale when the remaining general public seats are gone. Towards the end of February these will probably be gone and any unreserved of our block will be put on sale. It is important that you make your reservations ASAP or there may not be any left.

Check on availability and make your reservations quickly by calling (401) 848-7529. Mention the Mass Miata Club to receive the discount and make sure you reserve for the matinee show on Sunday Mar. 21st, not the evening show. You can charge it on your credit card (for $1.50 extra) or send them a check.

After you make your reservation be sure to email Bob Adams to let him know, and whether or not you'll be leaving with the group from Raynnam (so we wont be waiting for you).
