The MMC April 7th meeting was held Sunday at the Ira Motorgroup Mazda dealership in Danvers, MA. Arthur Caira did a great job working with George Newhook, Ira's General Manager, in preparing the dealership to host the meeting. George an his staff provided hot coffee, for those who arrived early, to take the chill out of a chilly top down ride to the dealership. After the meeting they also provided a buffet lunch and raffled off door prizes to meeting attendees.

There were two Special Edition Miatas, a yellow metallic and titanium metallic, for club members to explore and test drive if they wanted. Rumor has it that the Yellow Miata will have a new home shortly with one of our members. Ken Fitzgerald, parts manager for the dealership, offered parts and accessories at a discount for interested members. Ira Mazda is also a new sponsor to our club, you can see their banner add on our website.

There were 68 individuals Sunday morning that participated in the meeting and social activities by chatting and examining the "cars" of club members that were in different stages of modification. We welcomed several new members and first time meeting attendees as well. Following the festivities, a small number of cars went on a road trip that terminated at an ice cream parlor and provided a nice ending to an enjoyable day.
